Seafood Sourcing buys from all the main Scottish ports including the largest European fishing port – Peterhead. We specialise in the sale of whole fish but to need customer requirements, we also have a small team of skilled workers who can fillet any fish to customer specification.

All whole fish is distributed directly from the auction hall into refrigerated lorries so that it never leaves the cold chain. Meaning that when it is delivered to the customer, it is as fresh as it was when it landed from the boat.

Seafood Sourcing was formed at the beginning of 2016 to access a niche market area, providing the finest quality fish from the boat and delivered to the shelf in the fastest possible time.

Seafood Sourcing buys from all the main Scottish ports; Shetland, Lochinver, Mallaig, Fraserburgh, Kinlochbervie and predominantly from the main and largest European fishing port – Peterhead.

The catch processing facility is in Fraserburgh, where a quantity of the daily purchases are hand filleted by our highly skilled team. Once ready, the fish is transported in modern refrigerated lorries and delivered to Boulogne Sur Mer within 12 hours, ensuring that all connections to surrounding areas are met.

We also offer a filleting service; We purchase fish from the main markets in Scotland, bring it back to our small filleting plant in Fraserburgh, cut and skin the fish to the customer specification and have it packed, iced and loaded onto a lorry the same day as purchase.

Everything in our plant is cut by hand, we use no filleting machines – to ensure the best product available.
